[Product Introduction] Copper Azole, referred to as CA or CuAz, is a new type of water-borne wood preservative developed by Arch Wood Protection Company in the United States in the early 1990s. This preservative does not contain chromium heavy metals and arsenic highly toxic substances. Its main components are copper and organic azole compounds. The surface of the treated wood is green, and it has no obvious effect on the mechanical properties of the wood, the corrosiveness of the metal and the conductivity. The product has an anti-corrosion ability of 0.5-1.51 kg/m3 against white rot fungi and brown rot fungi. The agent is not easy to lose, has good fixation properties in the wood, and the anti-corrosion performance is close to that of CCA preservatives.
[Functional Features] 1. High efficiency, broad spectrum, low toxicity, environmental protection, and does not contain toxic and harmful substances. 2. Strong functionality, with good insect and ant resistance and anti-corrosion fungi effects. 3. Strong fixation and anti-loss performance. After being injected into the wood and solidified, it instantly generates insoluble compounds, which are not easy to volatilize and not easily lost due to rain or soil moisture. 4. This product has the characteristics of strong weather resistance, no impact on paint application, no reduction in wood strength and insulation, and improved flame retardant performance. 5. High cost performance. Compared with other types of preservatives, this product has the characteristics of low toxicity, environmental protection, and relatively low processing cost.
