CuAz Wood Preservative Product introduction
Copper Azole, abbreviated as CA or CuAz, is a novel water-borne wood preservative developed by Arch Wood Protection Company in the United States in the early 1990s. This preservative does not contain chromium-based heavy metals or arsenic-based toxic substances, and its main components are copper and organic azole compounds. The treated wood surface appears green and has no significant impact on the mechanical properties of wood, corrosivity to metals, or conductivity. The product exhibits an anti-rot effect against white rot and brown rot fungi of 0.5-1.51 kg/m3, is resistant to loss, has good anchoring properties in wood, and has anticorrosion performance similar to that of CCA preservatives.

CuAz Wood Preservative Using methods
1、Application and spraying treatment: The standard is for the wood surface to be fully absorbed (i.e., completely wetted). It is recommended to dilute with water at a ratio of 1:10, and applying 2-3 coats is appropriate.
2、Soaking treatment: The standard is to completely cover the wood with water. It is recommended to dilute the solution with water at a ratio of 1:8-10, and soak the wood for 12-24 hours.
3、Vacuum pressure method: It is recommended to use a concentration of 2%-3% and apply vacuum pressure method for mixing and processing.
CuAz Wood Preservative Warnings
1、Staff members need to wear protective work clothing, gloves, and masks during operation.
2、If skin contact occurs during operation, it should be rinsed with clean water immediately.
3、Processed wood is not suitable for use as food packaging boxes.
4、Keep out of reach of children during operation and storage.Do not discard used medications and waste materials casually.
