CCA Wood preservatives Product introduction
CCA wood preservative is one of the most effective and widely used water-soluble preservatives in the world. It is composed of compounds of copper, chromium, and arsenic. Wood treated with CCA preservative can extend its service life by more than 5-10 times even in harsh environments. Its active substances can be adsorbed in the cell walls of wood for a long time, providing strong insect resistance, decay resistance, and preservative effects on wood.

This agent is a brownish-concentrated liquid. When dissolved in water, it exhibits high efficacy against fungi and insects, low toxicity to humans and animals, strong penetration into wood, and high resistance to loss. The surface of wood treated with this agent appears light green, without affecting paint, reducing wood strength, or compromising wood insulation. It slightly increases hardness and enhances the flame retardancy of wood.

Building timber, decorative materials (wood flooring, joists and plywood for walls and ceilings), horticultural wood products, mining timber, railway sleepers, utility poles, shipbuilding materials, wooden planks and sea piles for docks, wooden cooling towers, etc.
CCA Wood preservatives Using methods
1、Application and spraying treatment: The standard is for the wood surface to be fully absorbed (i.e., completely wetted). It is recommended to dilute with water at a ratio of 1:10, and applying 2-3 coats is appropriate.
2、Soaking treatment: The standard is to completely cover the wood with water. It is recommended to dilute the solution with water at a ratio of 1:8-10, and soak the wood for 12-24 hours.
3、Vacuum pressure method: It is recommended to use a concentration of 2%-3% and apply vacuum pressure method for mixing and processing.

1、Staff members need to wear protective work clothing, gloves, and masks during operation.
2、If skin contact occurs during operation, it should be rinsed with clean water immediately.
3、Processed wood is not suitable for use as food packaging boxes.
